PROMYS question

For the past participants, how many problems did you solve? I have 6 right now, and I'm afraid it's not enough but I don't want to spend more time on the problems seeing as how admission is "rolling".

Any CCers applying this year? How many did you guys solve?

Also, how did you guys present your solutions? I just wrote mine with pencil and paper.

I am pretty sure there is no quota so the rolling is just there to get you your decision as soon as possible. I hope I am not wrong.

I have definite solutions for 1, 4, 8
I am partially completed/know how to solve 2, 3, 7, 9, 10
5 and 6 confuse me but I think I might be able to get 5.
If it makes you feel better, I haven’t written any down on real paper yet at all xd

Umm… I “solved” 9; well, I have solutions atleast. They’re … eh. blah.
I also wrote mine with pencil and paper! I hope my handwriting isn’t too bad

I heard that getting 8-9 gives you a good chance of getting in; the rolling thing just means that they’ll give admissions at dif. times, depending on when you send it in. so don’t fret.

Thanks guys! Glad to know other CCers are applying. Good luck to you two.

I think I solved all of them, but I still need to do a lot of work to write all the solutions down.
