Proof that SAT essays prove nothing

No, I took it in March. I took the subject tests in May.

hahahahahahahaha I can't believe this is actually true

May I just further prove this topic by saying that on my January essay, an essay which I practiced months for, I got an 8. On this May test, I wrote the essay without writing a 25 minute essay for months and I got a 10. I'll also add that I personally thought that the January essay was twice as good and it used great examples with MLK and Gandhi while the May essay used a personal anecdote of my addiction to television (never happened).

I love you Feed, although the feeling isn't mutual

BTW you were hoping for a better score today.

What u get?

You're not funny.
I got a 9 on my May essay. x_X

I'm somewhat happy because my unbreakable bond with 8 finally broke!
Got a 770 on Writing. :p (Was expecting an 800). What did YOU get, huh?

When I got my scores in the morning, I almost wanted to hug that grader who gave me a 5 instead of a 4.

If you don't mention poor farmers you'll always be below 10. I have my own grading system:

1-6 Pulitzer essays
7-10 Pocessing some structure
11-12 Something with a farmer

Use this and the scores you want will come

I DID use farmers, smartass.
I talked about Henry Ford's assembly line after the Enclosure Movement and how the formerly unemployed farmers turned into automatons and were completely incapable of working on their own (aka they became a single entity with the machines they were operating).

(I got the technology topic... obviously).

Lol, you fail at humor.
Again. :p (But that was a decent try).

But they became employed, so they aren't poor.

Colleges also look at these essays with respect to farmers.
The ONLY reason I was waitlisted at Cornell(overrated) because i forgot to mention them.

you're a loser....no one cares about this

... And you got in?

You didn't say what your SAT scores were, btw.
I want to know.

[Can you stop the talk about farmers now? It's annoying.] Also, your essay and a couple of others is only starting to convince me that SAT graders like made up bollox... aka personal anecdotes. Should probably work on that.

Lol @ noitaraperp.

770 math
650 whatever it is
690 writing

and yes i did get in

We got the EXACT same score... (except different distribution).
O_o

That's kind of freaky/cool.

I got:
620 CR
720 M
770 W (78MC + 9E)

Congrats.

I did have triple legacy...

I don't have any legacy for anything.
I'm going to be the first generation at a US college if I get in (hopefully).
But I don't know where I wanna go yet. I'm a soph... Shrug.

GL and btw u have 666 posts right now lol

How did he get an 11? This seriously hurts my brain...

^ Tell me about it...

Haha am I taking advantage of my friend's work? Sorry, but I only got a 9 and I love reveling in his greatness.

The SAT essay is evidence of an essay you wrote without any outside help. Anyways, here are some general tips to get a high score. They've worked for me.

use all of the space provided, give 2-3 solid examples (books, history, influential people) to support thesis, have a clear thesis, use SAT words, write coherently with good organization, try to write neatly, and write 4 paragraphs, 5 ideally with a brief conclusion.

If you do all that you'll get at least a 10, provided you're a decent writer. And once you get that high score you can stop whining about your once mediocre score.

Lol, the SAT essay is so easy that I am sure I can get at least a 10 everytime. If I reach my goal of 2300+ in June, then I will be sure to write a comprehensive, free guide which I will post. So, enough talking and more studying! :)
