Ok so I got a Hedrick double and am very excited since it seems like most people got triples. I am definitely NOT appealing because as long as I have a double, I am happy anywhere.

Just out of curiosity, what are the pros/cons of Hedrick compared to the other residence halls? Here's what I have heard so far (these may or may not be right, so just correct me if I'm wrong):

Pro: best food on the hill, almost 100% freshmen
Con: no laundry facility in the building, long walk (people consider this a con but I really don't care. The way I see it, I will need that walk since Hedrick supposedly has awesome food)

Pro: good food. long walk so lots of exercise to burn off the excess calories.
Con: i got a triple. :( and i have to wake up earlier to get to class.

My friend lives in hedrick right now, so ill call her soon to ask her about it. Then ill post some more.

sorry BruinMichelle . Archonizm's opinion is just as important as yours BruinMichelle. just because he and i liek sex and you dont doesnt mean you have to hate. everyone has different interests and Archonizm is just merely giving a a point of view not usually taken her on CC. we slaute you Archonizm

it seems like Hedrick has a ton of us, whic is a plus, and besides how bad is waling anyways its great for the legs and UCLA is notorious for nice calf muscles, its all part of the experience. And Hey, we'll learn how to power walk so overall it seems okay. And good food: Yaye!

Haha this thread is funny. I got Hedrick, but I haven't really heard anything besides good food and the long walk. On the plus side, with the new halls being built it's no longer the furthest away from everything else.

Hello!
Here's a question that I have: is it true that due to the many rennovations, and construction going on campus, that housing may be guaranteed to up to three years?
