prospective canadian mcgill students

<p>ive been reading this site for a while and i see a LOT of information about american requirements for admission, but since the canadian guidelines are so different i still don't know what i need to get in. i've also searched the mcgill website and all of the viewbooks/course books from mcgill that i have, and i still can't find anything, not even a cutoff mark. </p>

<p>i live in ontario and i'm applying for general arts. what do i need to be accepted? i have roughly an 86-87% average, is it enough?</p>

<p>Mcleans says the entering average for Mcgill is around 90%...so trying to aim for something around there...</p>

<p>For arts and science I think u need more...around 93-94%
For management its around 91-92%...i think (will go up this year for sure)</p>

<p>but yeh...most people I know here have a 90%+ average...only a very few have anything under 90</p>

<p>pretty sure that i read somewhere that the average grade for arts was an 87%, so you shouldn't have too much to worry about. For a more competitive program i would imagine that the cut-offs are a bit higher, but 87-88 for arts sounds about right.</p>
