Prospective transfer, read through transfer guide, still confused...?

I’m a freshmen at the University of Arizona and I’m currently finishing up my spring semester. I want to transfer to the undergrad school of business, and I read the best time to do that is in the Spring semester of your sophomore year. Is this true? Also, can I get a better breakdown of the accepted transfer courses? Will I have to retake a lot of classes or will my sophomore standing hold up? I’m kind of lost because I have read a lot of juxtaposing pieces of info regarding the transfer guide & reality… If someone could just tell me what I need to and when I should intend to transfer I would die of happiness. Or direct me to a prev thread explaining such process. Thanks ahead of time.

I suppose you have been here:

http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/transfer/prospective/

Is it possible for you to do a visit and set up an appt with an admissions advisor as well? Even over the summer? Have you called admissions? They can be super helpful, I would call before results come out for fall (which happens around March 20) because after that they are truly slammed. The other option is to call the advising department in Marshall School of Business and see what they say or where they direct you. Someone really needs to go over your transcript with you and give you idea what is best/reality. Good luck!

I think thats my best bet – I’ll schedule an appointment the next time I travel to the area, thanks for your input. And yes, I have been through the website and it is way too broad to help me get a actual perspective of the viability of transferring.
