<p>Heya :) Got my SATII scores in! (first time posting in this topic, btw!)</p>
<p>GPA: 3.9 weighted (~3.4 uw. ick.) all honor/ap classes since freshman year...
RANK: School doesn't rank; ~10-20%?
SAT: 2230 (770M 760V 700CR)
SATII: CHEMISTRY 720 / MATH IIC 780 / (Physics & Bio next May)
ASIAN FEMALE - undecided major... going premed :) an artist (going to submit portfolio!) LOCATED in MASS, competitive public high school. </p>
<p>ECs:
- Student Leadership Council (10-12)
- Red Cross Club (11-12) LEADER
- MOST leader, community service walks (11-12)
- Mock Trial (11-12)
- Intern @ Regional Lit Magazine (2 hrs/week, 40+ hrs)
- PALS (11-12) - tutoring bright middle school students (head in senior year)
- Ultimate Frisbee (10-12) (should I even include this? you can tell I'm not very sporty, this is the only thing I do, but still time consuming!)
(I do a LOT of community work... total 300+ hrs)</p>
<p>JUNIOR/SENIOR SCHEDULE:
- AP Chemistry, AP Euro, Physics, Humanities, Precal, French IV
- AP Calculus AB/BC (haven't decided), AP English, AP French, AP Physics (probable), Portfolio, Bioethics, Econ</p>

<p>i dont think the GPA is too competitive to schools like Columbia but you could try Brown, Cornell, UPenn, perhaps even Dartmouth. They are reaches though. You have a chance, I think. But you may not make it in. It doesnt hurt to try :D You seem to have a good shot at the schools you are applying to, though.</p>
<p>I think your best chance ivy wise would be at cornell. Besides from that all the other ivies, I think, would probably want a higher GPA. You might also have a chance at dartmouth if you can manage to write killer essays. The main problem, besides GPA, that I can see, is that you joined most of your ECs during junior year.</p>
<p>yeah, I did :[ sophmore and freshman year, I had a lot of circumstances in which ECs weren't as accessible to me (transportation mainly b/c both parents worked, outside-of-school currics like drawing classes, other internships... didn't include those. did a lot of summer work also since freshman year; christian camp newspaper staffing, chinese school math tutoring, library assistant... the like)</p>
