Am I aiming too high?

"SAT: 2230 (770M 760V 700CR)" lol, sure 100% run of the mill ( note sarcasm)

I think you have an awesome chance, to bad your GPA isn't that high, but still , you have a great chance at all your schools, in my opinion.

You have a good shot at all the colleges you are applying to. Might I recomend that you apply to a few ivies as reaches

REALLY? You think I can make an ivy? With my GPA? hahaha... I was looking at Brown, Dartmouth and Columbia, but eh :[ should I even bother?

My SAT is really my only redeeming factor, lol! (dunno how that happened. maybe they mixed my score up with somebody elses.)

and as for run-of-the-mill... well. compared to the other CCers here, yes, I'm pretty ordinary :)

How do you have a V and CR score...

i dont think the GPA is too competitive to schools like Columbia but you could try Brown, Cornell, UPenn, perhaps even Dartmouth. They are reaches though. You have a chance, I think. But you may not make it in. It doesnt hurt to try :D You seem to have a good shot at the schools you are applying to, though.

Good luck.

oh, that's supposed to be verbal 760, and the writing section 700, haha.

and thanks! any ideas which ones i might make it into and which ones i only have like a <50% chance? ;[

I think your best chance ivy wise would be at cornell. Besides from that all the other ivies, I think, would probably want a higher GPA. You might also have a chance at dartmouth if you can manage to write killer essays. The main problem, besides GPA, that I can see, is that you joined most of your ECs during junior year.

yeah, I did :[ sophmore and freshman year, I had a lot of circumstances in which ECs weren't as accessible to me (transportation mainly b/c both parents worked, outside-of-school currics like drawing classes, other internships... didn't include those. did a lot of summer work also since freshman year; christian camp newspaper staffing, chinese school math tutoring, library assistant... the like)

pssch run of the mill...

lol, i am... in comparision to CCers.

bump ba de bump bump bump...
