Providing Supplemental Material (Awards) after applications are submitted.

I am currently a Senior in high school and have submitted the last of my applications. Recently I have been notified that I won awards for a national competition and want to notify my schools about this. Should I email each school individually providing updates? Some examples of schools I have applied to are USC, Northeastern, most of the UC schools, Stanford and Carnegie Mellon. If not email, how would I notify them? If there is a section that says to upload supplemental material would I just submit a letter stating my accomplishments since submitting my application? I do not yet have an official copy of the awards I have won. My name is instead posted on a list released by the contest itself.

You can email each school individually. I would confirm your interest in the college and give the update. No need for proof. Keep the email short and sweet.
