PSAT 189 to 2250+ possible?

I got a 189 on my sophomore PSAT and am currently a junior. I haven't taken the SAT yet. Do you guys think I will be able to bring my predicted 1890 up to a 2250+? I am not planning on taking a course, but study out of the CollegeBoard book. Think this is possible?

On another note, you should take some diag tests to assess where you stand then tell us your individual section scores.

yes it is possible. i got 192 on the sophomore PSAT, and currently have a 2240.

i went from a 1520 PSAT to a 2010 SAT :(

I was hoping for 2100-2200 but am too lazy and don't want to take it again... Just can't take that pressure and college school name (or ranking) isn't everything when you want to go off to med school or whatever

Man if I had a 1520 PSAT, I would have qualified for NMS like 7 times over in my state.

198 sophmore PSAT to 231 PSAT junior year and a 2400 SAT. I didn't even take it that seriously sophmore year, anything's possible if you count the College Board's cards right.

It's not really a reliable predictor. My PSAT predicted a 2220, but I got a 2140, with wildly different scores in each section. I'm unusual for having gone down, I think...all of my friends got higher scores on the SAT than their PSAT predicted. I know people who have scored about where you did on the PSAT who have shot up--some studied a lot, others didn't. Anything's possible.
