PSAT 2010 Wednesday General Discussion

same. I got 25.

The area of the rectangle was (52) and the congruent triangles was ((35)/2)2) + (52). which is 25.

Was the 4 months, B? Cause that is what i put

15 on math mc…? 15 was finding the area of this huge thing with two tris and a rectangle. I put 30. can anyone confirm?

25 broo

why was the rectangle one 315? i put 105 i think

For the one with the answer of 25, which letter was that?

It was buttressed!

^^^because it said length, not width.

It was the length, which was 3 times. You probably just found the width.

Was the 4 months, B? Cause that is what i put.

No, 4 months was C. But I’m still confident about the answer being B, 3 Months. Unless I misjudged the question.

the rectangle one asked for the length which was 315… not the width which was 105

It wasn’t disdain for the embellish, fix, etc… question in the 1st reading passage about the cosmology?

What did the author mean when he said ruin until we can’t understand?

Molecular Biology undermines Passage 2 right?

Sympathtetic tone?

Was there a question about the meaning of special and if there was what did you put for that?

What did the author mean by growth?

I put reassuring and rational is what the two authors agreed upon

The comparison between the last sentences of the paragraph was cautious vs stirring

Duality: Mind vs Body

What did the author mean when he said that we’re just molecules?

Why did the author repeat the word, showed?

The answer was 4, beccause from 3-4 months the diffewrence was 1000, which was WAY more than anything else.

If I remember correctly, it said "…“thought to [be built]…”, brackets around the answer choice. “…thought to have been built” does not make sense.

ibSleepy - for the code one, it’s 26x26x10. 0 is also a digit.
Also, if you’re in IB, you rock.

I was really rusty and bubbled wrong on some of it. The CR and Writing sections were brutal for me and I left like 5 or 6 on each section and at least 10 on the writing section…I did really badly. Even though it seemed soooo easy.

How many No Errors did you people get on the ID Error section? I got 3 (E. Roosevelt, criticism/something else (the 2nd one), and the Japanese person (which I know is already wrong)).

105 was the width, so to get the length you have to multiply 105 by 3 which equals 315.

Was it curtail or sever? Something about project and money?

AaronBurr - if you read the question carefully, you would’ve seen that it specifically asked for the month after the greatest period of change = 4 months.

“It wasn’t disdain for the embellish, fix, etc… question in the 1st reading passage about the cosmology?”

It was to extend the figurative language b/c the passage started with a comparison to remodeling.

Oh, okay, then: “The pyramids were thought to have been built around…” I still don’t see a problem.
