CR ANd WRITING ESPECIALLY UGGGGGG

i think wry can refer to displeasure or distaste, don’t hold me to that though lol

i chose it more for the “disapproval” than the “wry”, i felt that bitter resentment was too strong for that specific statement

Is it me, or is the writing curve on the pratice test harsh?

So I have a confirmed 1 mistake on Math, and 1 on CR. Dammit. I still hope I get at least 230.

And yeah Writing curve on all PSATs are harsh - miss 4 and no more 700 for you.

is -2M, -3CR, and -3writing maybe above 220?

What was the question for the answer ‘Union : m+k-4’ ?

when do we get notified of scores? i heard that the official reports are in december, but has anyone heard of your school/guidance counselor letting you know before then?

What about the question about 2b and 3c where c<2?

-2 M would be around a 73-75. -3 W would be around 70-72. -3 CR would be around 76 to 78. Using the lowest estimates, that would be a 219. Close, I would say.

-0 math -4 CR - 4 writing lol

In comparison with other curves, is the one on the pratice test harsh in general? I’m sorry, but I am right on the borderline for my state (IL).
PS: I hate wry!!!

@Cynosuree
That was the one with the union of two sets, one with m terms and one with k terms.

I put wry too
so far i’ve got -2 CR, -2 math (dammitttt…), and -1 writing
sooo what exactly would my selection index look like? 230? 225?
lol i hope this score holds up…

i think i’m still -0 -0 -0, but i don’t expect that to hold up. massachusetts though… FFFFF

What did you guys put for the last sentence revision in writing? Was it has or has made?

and why the heck does nj have such a high cutoff for nmsc?

-1 would be a 77 or 78. -2 would be a 80. -2 would be a 73-75. Using the lowest estimates, you would be exactly at 230. So I would say around 228-231.

NJ has a high cutoff because of its good quality education system. It has the highest standardized test scores across the board - state testing, SAT, APs, etc. - in the U.S. You bastards.

“And dammit, there goes my 0 mistake prediction on Math. FFff.”

Mine too. *** i forgot to acknowledge the word LEAST!

@Pigsgooink, what was the question about?

It was something about population growth in Istanbul I think?
