PSAT 2011 Saturday General Discussion

Hellofabutler, Im exactly the same! Lets hope to miss no more :)

@Pig I think it was have made.

The population one was HAVE made, the and made the subject plural

It was something like “Population growth and cultural diversity makes Istanbul an interesting place”

@Cyno It couldn’t have been makes because there would be no way to correct that sentence.

i know i picked a plural one, were there any other plural choices? not sure if i picked have made on that one…

No, I was just stating what the original sentence was. I should’ve been more clear.

do you guys think -1 CR would still hold up as an 80?

Wasn’t “make” an answer choice as well?

@Shyams - Yes, -1 CR is still an 80.

Do you guys remember a question with a “so” that came from nowhere? Was that the mistake?

It’s “make” not “have made”, because “growing” is an ongoing process in the present and “have made” implies the process has already completed - which it has not.

-Strip malls are soulless

damn i put “make”, i read that too quickly. i think “have made” makes more sense with population growth
