was the answer for the library question in CR judicious or unfettered?

I was stuck between to shape and to bring up, ended up going with the latter.

I put unfettered, though I wasn’t too confident about that question

Consolidated answer thread so far in SAT prep.

So its not bring up?
Its definition has to match the word…

The one was clearly unfettered. It had to be, it used three adjectives describing the freedom of thoughts in a library, and unfettered means unrestrained.

Question for isosclees triangle-- someone earlier mentioned that the quest was… The sides of the right trangle were 6, 8, and 10. The perimeter was thus 24. You needed to find the longest side of an isosceles with the same perimeter, where all three sides are integers.

So wouldn’t the answer be 22? Becasue we want to find the longest side of an isosceles triangle so you could do 1+1+22= 24. right?

go back to the one about the triangle and side length.

If the perimeter was 24 and the triangle was isosceles, and the lengths HAD to be integers, than if one side was equal to 11 the smaller ones would have to equal 6.5 and 6.5.

if the question said that the length of the sides were all integers integers than the largest one side can be is 10. If the largest side is 11, the other two sides have to be 6.5 and 6.5, which arent integers

what would not be a triangle?

damn how could i make such a dumb mistake

How generous do you think the curve will be???

Its okay asterix, I did something stupid as well. I must’ve been stressing out so I read the question wrong. I put 10.

I second that, harvardhopeful02. 10 , 7 , 7.

Wow

BROACH? i put to draw off for that one. fail.

Hopefully the curve is super generous, especially on the CR. I felt I got an 80 on the writing portion, if all goes well, since all of my answers match with the generally accepted ones discussed here. My CR was a crash and burn, and I felt I did alright on math. Made a stupid mistake and the one with 6 players I marked 48, when I’m sure it was 30. I also missed the parallelogram question (switched the angles and used the side as 20rt(3).

I put pretentious.

Passionate. Definitely passionate.

did anyone get a third no error on the writing, and if so, what was it? I only got two no errors.

I’m a junior this year, sophomore year i made a 160 and I wasn’t trying at all, this year I don’t think I improved that much, I feel like slouching in the fetal position for a few hours.

writing scores are so harsh…

how’d you guys combine the two sentences for the improving paragraph one?
