No scores in Oklahoma City yet.

Nothing in MI.

221 in NJ!

Congrats!!! smileykins

It is Wednesday and we don’t have scores in rural GA yet. I hope they come in tomorrow! Does anyone know where to find the cut-off scores for this year? Or will it be a month or so before those are known? I’ve never been able to find them (for prior years) anywhere except on College Confidential.

Does anyone know what the curve is?

I just wanted to say to anybody that is looking to raise their score by a lot on the PSAT in the future, it CAN be done. As a sophomore I scored a 189, and was extremely dissatisfied with my score. After months of practice and preparation, I’m proud to announce that I was able to raise my score 32 points to a 221. Never give up!

Anyone got it in florida?

Because of this thread I checked with the guidance secretary at my son’s school (Northern NJ) yesterday and they had them. They are sending them home next week, but she e’d me a copy.

Sophomore in NE Prep Boarding School
Overall 219, 3 wrong in reading, 1 wrong in math, 2 wrong in writing
How the heck is two wrong in writing a 70???

If I remember correctly, a harsh curve means that many of the test-takers did well overall, and a generous curve means that many of the test-takers underpreformed.

ouch – tough curve!

Exeterandover, was that the wednesday or saturday test?

Honestly this whole talk of -2 equalling a 70 in W makes me a little nervous about my scores. Is this a usual curve?

@Leicester
sometimes -4 will yield 71 and a -5 will be a 69, so this is a pretty harsh curve.

CollegeMom - Official cutoffs will not be available until August/September 2013. GA is typically in the 214 or 215 range although the class of 2012 had an uncharacteristically high cutoff of 218. But 2012 was high for most states.

The writing doesn’t sound too terribly out there. Last year I missed 3 and got a 67.

Anyone know what 1 wrong on reading is for the Wednesday test?

1- on reading is always an 80.

I’m also waiting on Florida. I’m nervous. I got a 162 sophomore year, but I omitted a lot of questions.

R: Omitted 12
W: Omitted 3
M: Omitted 3

This year I finished every section with time to spare. Hoping for the best.
