PSAT Advice

I'm currently a sophomore and I have the PSAT this Wednesday. I know this test doesn't count, but I want to do my best on it. I just took the Oct. Sat last weekend and I believe I got around 2050-2150.

Is the PSAT easier than the SAT? If I already studied for the SAT, should I be fine for the PSAT? Is there any big differences between the SAT and the PSAT?

Thank you so much :)

The PSAT and SAT are relatively similar. It’s a little harder since the curve is a lot harsher, especially in the writing section. There is no essay on the PSAT, and it contains 2 CR sections, 2 Math sections, and 1 Writing section.
Since you’re a sophomore, it really doesn’t matter because CB will be changing the test next year, but good luck!

My best advice is to be calm! You must recognize that 1.) your scores honestly don’t matter 2.) this is a baseline to see what you have to work on for the real thing.

The major difference for me was the endurance factor. The PSAT is much shorter than the SAT. I also agree with Dream0n, this test really doesn’t matter for you because they are changing the SATs

(Not sure if this is a fluke or not but I personally did far better on my SATs than the PSATs)
