i got a 199 and am in the 96th percentile. is this good enough for a commended at least? i know in the past its been at around 200, but a lot of threads have said 96th percentile. if i miss it by one point, ill be soooo mad b/c i looked at my score report and found that twice i circled the right answer in the book but bubbled incorrectly and another two times i made the absolute dumbest math mistakes ever. =[

I got a 198 and have no idea either... but yea i'd be pretty mad if i missed it by so little

199 - maybe

198 - probably not

commended scholars usually are in the upper 96th percentile.

It's really hard to say. Don't worry about it, though. If you are that close, you are a good candidate for plenty of schools. Just so you know, there are few real perks associated with being commended (my D was ... missed semi cutoff by a point). It gives you bragging rights, if that interests you. D did not find any scholarship opportunities simply because she was commended. She received plenty of scholarship offers at schools, though, and got some other non-school scholarships (like Best Buy). Your academic record isn't any less wonderful just because you missed commended. Relax. You'll know one way or the other soon.
