PSAT commended

ok. I sincerely apologize if this question has been asked before; I did a short search but couldn't find anything.

Obviously the cutoff for commended students changes from year to year, but what do you guys think it will be for this year?

My score was a 201, or 97th percentile. Which percentile usually marks commended?

I find that wild. I am in the EXACT same boat LMFAO! I too, got a 201 and want to know your predictions. I read somewhere last year was 200, and it shouldn't change more than 1 point or so. Thanks for any responses!

It will probably not be far above 200. Part of the 97 percentile will make it, but not the entire thing. The question becomes how far below the 98 percentile your score is.

I was commended last year with a 203, 97th percentile

i got a 201 also which is the bottom of the 97th percentile... ahhh i hope we get commended....

The cutoff was 200 for current seniors. Has been for a couple of years, I have heard. I would guess 200 again for the Oct test. Overall scores were down, so the state scores may drop a point or two, but doubt commended will drop below 200.

I was looking at past trends, and I would have to agree with what The Mom said.

The commended cutoff was as high as 203 until last year when the change in the writing section caused a drop in scores and a 200 commended cutoff.
