I have yet to receive scores but I was curious as to the nature of the curve on this years PSAT test (i.e how many points off for 1,2,3 wrong in math, CR, and writing)

2 off in CR = 77
1 off in math = 78
1 off in writing = 79

IIRC

Hmm MJ, which form is that for?

1 off in writting 79???
we’ve been hearing -2 is a 70…

Until people actually start getting their PSAT scores back, the best guess is to go by past curves.

Here are the PSAT data at the top end, which is where the curve varies most dramatically, from 2005-2008. First number is the raw score, followed by the average PSAT score and the historical range of PSAT scores over the last 4 years.
