@likestowrite towrite can you post how many he missed? I want to get an idea of the curve.
I’m hoping you did awesome @intheairtonight and that TASP email is for this year! But at the same time I would be really mad because I don’t think college board is allowed to divulge this information before telling the students
Can someone PLEASE confirm if their my college quickstart account says “our records indicate that you have not taken any college board assessments”???
@givemethtcheese Mine says that too
@Joe2015 I was in the 99th percentile last year and didn’t receive a TASP email…I even got emails from Stanford and Harvard.
I received a letter regarding TASP recently and I smell a conspiracy. If the qualification is truly based on last year’s PSAT scores then I should not qualify. As I have yet to take the SAT–and assuming none of my teachers are up to any foolery–I believe the CB has in fact released scores to Telluride. Also considering the weird phone conversation posted several pages back, I have concluded that this TASP letter is a clear sign that I am in fact in the 99th percentile and will gain the love of my parents. All of those who doubt me remember, Jesus was doubted.
Why wouldn’t the College Board be allowed to send scores to Telluride before telling the students?
will we be able to access our scores online tomorrow even if we do NOT have an access code?
Ok. I had one of the numbers backward but here it is
R=-11=32
W=-5= 33
M= -3=37.5
So in 2015 that is an SI of 205
Using the concordance tables, it is equivalent to a 2014 SI of 200.
60 +63+ 77 = 200
I think if you put down a valid email address they’ll send you an access code. if not, the paper results come at the end of the month
@stresstasticlife thank you! honestly, I’m having conflicting feelings about this whole situation and can’t wait for it to be (finally) cleared up tomorrow…
Has anyone tried calling CB and confronting them about this whole TASP thing?
Can someone compile a link of all the tables and potential cutoffs?
It seems like they have flattened the scores a lot. A 38 on reading is an old 79 but a 36 is only a 71? How many more of these scholarships will now be decided by the luck of where you fall on the rounding cut-offs on the three scores? Not impressed at all with this redesign.
The College Board has deals with these places. Why else would we receive letters like this. Last year I had a 162 PSAT, a truly awful score, but this year I got an email from Harvard, and letters from Duke and Yale. They must pay or something to receive our scores. Which is really sick and twisted if you think about it.
But still praying for that 99th percentile
What page has the link to the concordance tables?
@greeneggsandsam9 ikr same…I didn’t get a TASP email the struggle
@greeneggsandsam9 You and I have walked the same road. When Telluride sent me that email saying I had one of the top scores I nearly hyperventilated. It HAS to be based on the 2015 PSAT. I hope the TASP prophecy will be fulfilled…
“The 2016 TASP invites for juniors are based on 2014 sophomore PSAT/NMSQT scores.” -College Board Twitter Account. Srry guys
Do you know where the scores will appear? Or how they will be delivered to us?
