Any difference between both of them. Like, is CR is little easier in the PSAT than the SAT?

The PSAT is shorter, it has no essay, and there are about 4 harder math problems. Collegeboard actually uses old SAT questions on the PSAT. The CR is the same in terms of difficulty.

the myth or general idea is that the psat is harder than the sat ( maybe it's true, maybe it's not). however, people usually do score better on the SAT, maybe b/c of more preparation, or an easier test. who knows? ( me.... 205, 2200).

it's about the same. Only aspect in which PSAT is easier is that it's shorter, so if you're someone who gets burned out by long tests, then it's easier i guess. Other than that, they're about the same. i got 229 vs 2310 so i thought it was comparable

Bear in mind that people typically take the SAT with several more months of schooling. A large increase can be partially attributed not to the the SAT being easier but to several more months of natural preperation through school when the SAT is taken later junior year. I went from 204 to 2080 in March of junior year with a 75 to 800 W increase without prep.

Also, is perhaps the curve different?

^ i agree w/ the several months of preparation thing. however, i did find that the Cr section in the psat was harder ( but that's just me)
