How much harder is the SAT compared to the PSAT? (in terms of content)

They are the same. SAT is just longer.

Plus the essay on the SAT, of course :(

no, sat is harder

so is the math and writing about the same as the sat? and the sat cr twice as hard as the psat?

I think the SAT is much harder than the PSAT.

yahoo, that actually sounds about right. I think the writing is easier on the PSAT but CR is much more difficult on the SAT. I got a 79 CR on the PSAT but never broke 730 on the New SAT. Math is about the same.

i totally agree with mijehar

I'd say they're just different tests. You can't miss many at all on the PSAT, compared to the SAT (although there are lots more questions). I got a 175 on the psat (54 cr, 65 m, 56 w) and for the second time in Nov. i got a 2160 on the sat (670 cr, 720 m, 770 w (78mc, 9e) and I'm giving it one more shot in jan. You are younger when you take the psat, which doesn't help, because you learn a lot junior year and fall of senior year.
