PSAT score. any chances?

Hello guys,
I'm in CA and my school received the PSAT reports a bit late.
From the previous years, the CA merit scholarship cutline has been 219, 221, and 220.
I received a score of 70, 80, 70, adding to 220.
The grammar section had a horrible curve, with a deduction of 5 points per question.
I seemed to have missed 2; however, I was shocked when I found out that one of my errors was a bubbling error (correct answer was C, scantron said I put A).
When I checked my booklet however, it was an easy question and I had circled C without even eliminating. From my previous experiences, I have NEVER made this kind of a mistake, and even at this point I'm not too sure it was an error on my part.
With this year's cutoff approximated to be at 221, I wouldn't be able to bear with being disqualified because of such error.
Is there anything I can do about this and do I have any chances, or am I simply stupid?
Thanks for the opinions.
