Currently a freshman with PSAT scores of 690 CR, 530 Math, and 650 Writing, and thats without doing any prep. I am just wondering if anyone has had scores similar to these, and how much they went up by when they took it for a final time. I plan on doing a fair amount of prepping before retaking... anyone?

I took my PSAT as a sophomore getting CR-580 M-650 W-540. I took it as a junior getting CR- 580, M-720, W-630. I just got my SAT scores and they are CR- 680, M-690, W-690. I studied quite a bit, but I didn't take any prep courses. I'm retaking the SAT once more in March and i'm hoping for above a 2100 this time. Anyways, you had a similar PSAT score to mine when I was a sophomore. I'm sure you'll go up by just be learning new material in school (especially math). I wouldn't worry; you have two more years before your PSAT even counts as a scholarship opportunity!

Thanks! anyone else?

72 reading 64 math 68 writing as a sophomore with no prep total of 204

77 reading 71 math 77 writing as a junior with a little prep total of 225

it'll go up a lot

Sophomore PSAT: 57 CR 52 M 64 W

Junior PSAT: 66 CR 60 M 57W

January SAT: 740 CR 590 M 550 W

I have no idea why my Critical reading keeps increasing by obscene amounts and everything else worsens or stays the same. I definitely need to get a 600+ on Math next time and apparently my essay was crap...

--last bump :) --

junior PSAT: 227
junior SAT: 2270

Freshman PSAT: 161 (48 CR, 60 M, 53 W)
Sophomore PSAT: 197 (59 CR, 68 M, 70 W)

Hoping for a 225 on the Junior PSAT. I really need to get my Critical Reading score to around a 700. T-T

Sophomore PSAT: 199 (68 CR, 62 M, 69 W)
Junior PSAT: 212 (77 CR, 62 M, 73 W)
Junior SAT: 2220 (770 CR, 670 M, 780 W)

CaliforniaDancer! Looking at your PSAT scores, I see that you are pretty strong in CR. How did you practice for that section?

Junior PSAT : 193 (70 CR, 61 W, 62 M)
Junior SAT: 2060 (680 CR, 720 W, 660 M)
