I am a bit worry about PSAT because this is the last practice I can take before taking it for real next year. In 9th grade I only got 180 and I really not sure if I can make my state's cutoff(~213) in time by Junior year :/

it improves. I got 190 sophomore and I’ll take it tomorrow but I consistently get over 220, cross 230 often, and get 240s at times. so basically around 225(still too low-.-)

I got a 203 freshman year and 219 junior year. My real SAT was a 2330 though (also junior year)

215 as a sophomore, 233 as a junior. Both involved no studying/prep at all.

Daughter’s scores went up 16 points tween 10 and 11 grades (and went up in all sub scores). Made NMSF cut-off this year.

228 as a freshman and sophomore. I didn’t expect my scores to go up, though, as I was really sick when I took it last year and was just satisfied that I managed to stay awake lol.

Took the junior ones today. I’ll be happy with anything that isn’t yet another 228 :P

My junior-year score was 17 points higher than my sophomore score.

I didn’t take then as a frosh. I got like an 185 my sophomore year and a 195 my junior year, did lots of SAT prep and got a 2040, did no prep for six months and got a 2270. 1850 to a 2270. Things get better, and often you don’t even have to do anything :)

My sophomore year score was 24 points higher than my freshman year score (even though I got two points lower on CR). I took the junior one today and pretty sure I improved from last year. Most people improve even without prep because you’re learning more stuff every year.

Freshman: 196
Sophomore: 212
Junior: 223

I had already completed the required mathematics curriculum by ninth grade, though, so your math score will probably increase more than mine. You’ve got plenty of time to worry about this later.
