So I’m doing some last minute review PSAT using Khan Academy, and I find that they offer 4 full practice exams, but it says “SAT” practice tests so I thought that it would be the big cahuna 10 section thingamajigger but in fact its only 4 sections…
And so I take it and I realize that the amount of time and number of questions for each section was different from the practice test (there were more questions and longer time)…but the score report I got back was exactly like the PSAT one…out of 1520. What was weird was I missed 2 math questions and left 1 question blank and still got a 760 (way better than PSAT practice test curve). For writing I missed 1 question and left 1 blank (38 score which again is better than the perfect score needed in the PSAT practice test). And for Reading I missed 8 (got a 35 but I thought I would get wayyy less). I ended up getting a 1490 which is actually higher than the 1480 I received when I took the PSAT practice test provided in the NMSQT booklet…so my question is: Are these tests accurate??? Did my score increase despite my seemingly worse performance? Please answer ASAP because if this is a legit score (I assume since khan academy and collegeboard are collabing) I’m going to take 1 more test. Thank you so much!!!
Do yourself a favor and get a good night’s sleep instead!
Haha ok thanks…you are right I’m worrying too much. Good night everyone!
