Congrats @marebo & @pennst2021 just checked mine and still no decision on Smeal
Does anyone know if they will potentially release more decisions tomorrow overnight
No one ever told me the waiting was going to be this hard

Accepted finally! College of Science, PreMed, 1330 SAT, 3.8 W GPA, 29 ACT
@avery76 When did you apply??
@nitlyn You’re saying because you are a penn state alum that donates, then your daughter should get accepted to Penn State?
Just checked my portal and I have been accepted to the College of Communications! After seeing everybody else’s stats I was very nervous that I was not going to get in but I guess I shouldn’t have worried as much as I did.
@yogisandy why would people boycott PSU? If people don’t apply, they won’t get accepted. How many people would risk admission to change their system? Just because people have to wait till the end of January does not mean their system is flawed.
@BreBre235 No, I’m saying the process is illogical. You chose to translate one paragraph in my post into your question. I’m suggesting some changes to the process that would be beneficial to those who truly want to be there.
Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!!
@2021NH Sadly i think the likeliness of them releasing more tonight is slim. Considering this is the first i have heard of admissions decisions at all this week (though of course i could be wrong) Sadly i think a lot of us are just gonna have to wait till next week, hopefully we get a decision then.
Congratulations to all that were accepted! We went and visited Duquesne University yesterday, and I can honestly say it has taken away my anxiety of checking the Penn State portal! Very nice school with a lot of extra “perks” that PSU doesn’t offer. So if not accepted to UP, Duquesne it will be!
@bxlla123 If you dont mind sharing, what were your stats?
Accepted:
3.7 GPA
1370 SAT
president of math club
Navy ROTC 4 year scholarship
congrats to everyone who got accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting!
@giantsfan1234 uw: 3.7 w:4.0 sat: 1190
Son accepted Smeal UP, Fall start. GPA 4.0, SAT 1260, 7 honor courses, 1 AP, several leadership roles, involved in sports and employed.
Will be following and praying that those of you on here that have been waiting, receive good news. If denied, definitely call up and see what other options there may be for you. Going in through DUS has NO drawbacks at all! My older son did this and it has worked out incredibly well. I know many kids who start at Altoona and transfer to UP after two years and are equally happy.
Congrats to all who have been accepted so far! =D>

Anybody know if I would be able to still go to Penn State but not in the summer? Like take online classes in the summer?
@nj3edu no unless you email them and ask to be re-evaulated for fall but the chances of getting in for that are slim
Still waiting on my decision into the College of Engineering. Might it be wise to call admission today and request I be considered for DUS should I not be admitted into Engineering, or would it be best to wait until I receive my decision. Thanks.
@Moody777 oct 31 i applied
