I find it curious that when the “Admission Notification by:” date passes without a decision there is absolutely no communication to the applicant of the delay, even when the delay stretches into weeks. It is certainly understandable that there could be a delay for many different reasons, the institution is huge, after all. But no communication at all? Not even a simple statement on the website or the portal? “Curious” is the most positive spin I can put on it.

I’m doing the IB diploma. I have a predicted 34 out of 42.
SAT I: 1330 (730 Math, 600 English)
SAT II: 640 in Physics and 690 in Math
I was part of my school’s track team and tennis team, and quite a few other ECs
I got accepted to PSU UP not too long ago and today I received a provost award for $16k. does anyone know what the highest one was and what the requirements were?
4*4k is the highest one I think.

Why 3.30?
For anyone who applied to the honors college, decisions are supposed to come out then.
From what I learned from an admission counselor and people from the honors college, you are only going to hear from the honors college if you already get a Penn State acceptance. If you haven’t already got an acceptance, then you have to wait until you get your acceptance from Penn State to know the honors college’s decision. Good luck to everyone!
I just saw some people saying that intl. admissions are on a different schedule than Feb 28, but I got my decision Feb 13 and I am an international student that applied by the Dec 30 mark. Check with your admissions counselour!

@mckr135 I applied around 10/30 as an international student, and from all these times I called, I was told that international students will hear back around mid-April. I do know some other international students at my school who applied at almost the same time as me and got their decisions…
@axwclassof2022 that’s soo weird that they’re doing it like that because eberly scholarships come out during march and schreyers too and i think i saw someone comment that those that don’t have a decision don’t get those notifs either, so i wonder when they would get them.

@mckr135 where are you from? I too applied as an international and got my acceptance 4 days back…! There’s a different story going in there for international peeps. Very confusing. I too was been told that I will hear in April but on same day I got accepted. Lol…!
