Psych 160-Gade

anyone in this class right now? is he testing us from the book at all for the midterms?

(and did he take attendance in Friday section or was it just like any ordinary lecture?)

He said he was never gonna take attendance, so you don’t need to worry about that. Friday classes are just normal lectures. He also said he would only test us on what was in lecture, so the book isn’t really necessary… It is kinda fun to read though. :p

sweet. was there some sort of extra credit thing only the first day of lec though? i went on wed but took off fri. there is something on the bspace gradebook that says class 1 e/c…?

haha you nerd  but nice to know the book is not mandatory. i went last wednesday and tried to take notes on other stuff besides what was on the slides but i didnt get much, do you think the ASUC notes are worth purchasing for $50?

I think he gave extra credit for those papers with our information on them… And I reeeeaaalllly doubt the ASUC notes will be worth it. He seems to cover everything in his slides, and if there’s ever something you don’t get, then I the book can explain it in detail. :p

ok that sounds good. so the corell study from lec 2 and all that is also in the book for sure? if i hadnt been to lec, i probably wouldnt have known specifics about it because the slides didnt have much…

incidentally, are exams all MC and how many Q’s, etc.

you rock, btw. thanks so much for answering these.

I think all the studies mentioned in the slides are also explained in the book… So far anyway. I could be wrong, but so far I’ve been able to recall each one from the assigned readings. And yup, he said all the exams are MC, but I don’t think he specified how long they’ll be…

“you rock, btw. thanks so much for answering these.”

No problem :D

ok great! thx again :)
