So, I was wondering... what was the UC that has the STRONGEST psychology department? I constantly hear good things about UCD's and UCI's psychology undergraduate programs, but I could never get any definitive answer on that. Um...so, can anyone help bring clarity to the situation?

Much thanks.

Berkeley and UCLA are cited to be the best UCs for psych, and UCSD is strong too. For undergrad, I'd say Berkeley is the best for psych.

The NRC ranking:

1 Stanford 4.82
2 Michigan 4.63
3 Yale 4.62
4 UCLA 4.61
5 Illinois 4.58
6 Harvard 4.48
7 Minnesota 4.46
8 Penn 4.35
9 Cal Berkeley 4.33
10 Cal San Diego 4.32

Gourman report undergrad ranking:

Stanford

U penn
U Michigan AA
U Minnesota
UC Berkeley
Harvard
U Illinois UC
U Chicago
Columbia
UC San Diego
UCLA

I didn't apply to Berzerkeley, and I was rejected by UCSD. I doubt UCLA will accept me, so in comparing UCI and UCD, which one has a better psychology undergrad program? Some say UCI, but others say UCD. I'm confuzzled. :(
I haven't gotten into UCI yet, but was accepted to UCD.

That link isn't working, but thanks for the info.
I was thinking about that too...how both colleges are pretty much equal in their Psychology departments. I've visited UCI many times, but not UCD yet. So, I have to see if I get into UCI and then visit UCD before I make a decision (which will mostly be based on who else goes to UCI that I know, and the social aspects of the schools).
Thanks Kyle!

I've heard mixed things about the UCSC psychology department. Some LOVE it...some hate it. What do you think?
