Psychology program (& Education)

My daughter (HS class 2008) is looking for Trinity University. She is planning to major in Psychology and add Education (early childhood in particular) as second major (and continue the educational graduation program the 5th year). You can study psychology 'everywhere': How is the psychology program rated? Is there any educational major at TU?
Thanks!

Don't know about psychology at Trinity. I do know that there isn't an undergrad education degree. She would get an undergrad degree in Psychology and then do the 5th year Master of Teaching. During the undergrad years, they do take some education courses including practicums in local schools. My eldest went throught the Trinity 5 year program and just completed her 2nd year as a middle school math teacher. I can't say enough good things about how well Trinity prepared her to be a great teacher.

Thanks BG123456 for your reply. We going to visit Trinity University in 2 weeks and hope to ask some faculty members.

Just so happens that my trinity alum ds is home this week. She strongly suggested that you meet with Pat Norman who is one of the advisors for the elementary masters program (I'm not sure if that title is exactly right but it's close). DS had and education advisor & a Math advisor through the undergrad years. Let me know how it goes.
