A question while we're waiting for the forms to start inundating us:p

For our princeton email address, do they:
a) send us a prefixed email address
b) send a list of email addresses that we must choose from or
c) send an instruction sheet on how to create a "someone@princeton.edu" email on our own?

they send you an email address that is usually [first letter of given name][last name]@ but if you have a common name, then there are different ones. but you dont get to choose

So students basically have no say in what their email address will look like? What if it turns out funny like Maria M. Ilky - milky@princeton.edu

I don't have a middle name so no middle initial. My sisters initials are the same and her email is [first initial][last name]@princeton.edu....I wonder what I'll get...I would have liked hers, it looks nice :(

how can i prove it, would you like me to describe what princeton.edu looks like after logging in so that you can see that i was right after you get your netID?

well at the top, it says SunTM ONE Messenger Express, followed by tabs for folders, inbox, sent, trash, drafts, addresses, and options in that order. the page background is dark gray, with light gray for the active tab window. underneath is ur email address + the tab heading you are currently under, shall i continue?
