Public Transportaion

Yeah, I one of those kids who had a drivers liscence and a car, but still take the bus. So I'm looking for top schools with a good public transportation system. Everything doesn't need to be free (like it is in carnegie mellon), but it would be nice. Just any comments on schools' transportation packages would be appreciated.

Do you mean transportation within a city or in the limits of a campus?

If within a city, a place like New York or Boston has great public transportation.

Well, within a city or the surronding area would be preferrable. I'm also wonder what schools give good "deals", like the schools in Pittsburgh will have everything for free. (i.e. do you get metro credits if you go to NYU)

macalester, I love the buses and the light rail that the twin cities have, though it is not as much fun in the winter. Winter in the cities is not as bad though, comparable to NJ (it's the rest of Minnesota that is insane).
