I really worried about getting in. I have exactly a whole year until I apply.

Haven’t taken SAT yet (will next month)
Marching Band (4 Years and Section Leader)
Jazz Band (3 years)
Concert Band (4 years)
We The People (Government Class Comp.)
Volunteer:
SPCA with pet food band and Pet Smart National Adoption Weekend (20 hours)
Music Education for Kids (5 hours)
I know it is looking rough with only 20 hours of experience with animals, but I am desperate for some advice. I plan on volunteering at a horse rescue and shadowing my vet and another vet soon. How many hours should I aim for? Is it even possible or worth trying?
