Hey Everyone! :)
I am really confused between Purdue and Penn State Universities for Engineering. I plan to major in Electrical, or Comp. Sci. or Mechanical (in that order).
The main dilemma I am facing is that though Purdue has a better rank, and that a Purdue degree has a higher value, I have read that the curriculum is extremely rigorous, the professors hand out very few A's and graduation rate is only about 68%. Also, supposedly, campus life is not as thriving as is Penn State's (according to college *******).
On the other hand, though Penn State is not as highly ranked (or supposedly as "prestigious") as Purdue, the academics are said to be better, employment is more and because of its location, opportunities are more I guess.
In any case, according to WSJ, both are equally preferred by employers.

Also, I am very curious to know which has a better co-op program for international students.

Thanks! :)
