Purdue vs UT-Austin engineering

UT’s overall US Ranking is fairely higher than that of Purdue. However, in terms of engineering major, Purdue is ranked slightly higher. Where would you go if you got accepted from both schools? In general, which school is better for an undergrad engineering student

UT is very difficult to get in. I think UT is more prestigious institution.
