Hey I’m a sophomore going into a junior year in HS and I was hoping on getting some feedback on how much of a chance I have in getting accepted to the aerospace engineering program at Purdue University. I am planning on taking the last old SAT in January, based on the practice tests that I have taken I should score anywhere from a 2050-2150. I plan to maintain a 96 grade point average, I also have two award winning research projects (one is on the dangers of texting while driving and the other one is on the effects of MI on strength gains), I was on the wrestling team for 1 year, and now I’m on the chess team, I am also going to be competing in two powerlifting meets this upcoming year. I have a good amount of volunteer hours, and by the time I apply to Purdue I would have taken 8-9 AP classes. My school is also the 22nd (although those rankings mean nothing) best in the U.S. and 2nd best in NY state so my average isn’t really that good compared to some of the other kids with 100+ averages. Based on my extra curriculars, it isn’t really clear that I have a penchant for aerospace engineering (should of joined the robotics team freshman year but it’s too late now lol). Final question and it maybe stupid but please let me know, at Purdue, is it possible to double major in both Aviation (I want to be able to pilot a plane) and Aerospace Engineering. I have hopes of space flight in the future, and one of the reasons that Purdue stuck out to me was because of the prolific amount of astronauts that it has produced. Any other schools that you think I can make? (UCLA, BU, etc.). Thank you! I’m also white.

Any chance you’d be willing to add some paragraph breaks then bump it again? Right now it’s breathless in two senses of the word.
Purdue should be a match to high match depending on your actual score.

Make sure your parents will pay for the out of state tuition. Very few eng. students get merit scholarships.
