I am an international transfer student from Panama, for Specific Admission Requirements for Panama the website says: "Successful completion of a curriculum including English, Mathematics, and Biology, Chemistry, or Physics passed with grades averaging 4 or more will be required for admission consideration. "

I have grades averaging 4 or more for 12th grade, but for 9th 10th and 11th I have grades below 4 for some of these subjects. I was wondering if I could still apply?? What if I take SAT subject tests for bio chem physics or math, and get a good score, would that help?? Or do you recommend to just forget about applying to this university and look for another one that could accept me..? If so, where do you think is a good place I could go? I want to major in CS.

Please tell me what you think.. I would appreciate it soo much =) --> Thank you!!!

Well, when they are specific like that, it means the answer is a definite "no" unless you meet the requirements.

Why not do the following:

Apply to Indiana University at South Bend's pre-engineering program. It's a program designed to specifically work in concert with Purdue's program. You take the first year or two at IUSB and then transfer to Purdue's engineering program after that. South Bend is not too far from Purdue and is most famous for being where Notre Dame University is also located.

and here's the link to all of the Indiana University campuses (I suggest you not apply to the Northwest campus, since Gary, Indiana is not a specifically appealing location--even though it is close to Chicago).
