Purpose of Summer???

Is summer meant to be fun and relaxing or is a time to be spent building up your college resume?

Summer is meant to be summer. What you do with it is your choice.

^^ Definitely, if you plan on making the first half of your senior year about college admissions, then make your summer about it too. If you plan on catching a case of senioritis then do what you want with your summer.

It’s a time to relax. But also to hammer down and get ahead. Your summer could potentially make or break your future, remember that. But do so while enjoying yourself.

Do something interesting. Get a job, write your college essay, visit and narrow your potential colleges. A try to have some “me” time.

I wish I could have one summer where it was a relaxation. Every year something comes up and I have to deal with it…academic or personal ■■■

To plow the fields.

^Wasn’t that the original purpose of summer vacation in America anyway. So kids can farm and go back to school in the winter.

hahahhahahaha billymc

Do work, and have fun too! Seriously, we’re 16/17, so enjoy it with friends and family.

When your 40 are you gunna remember prepping for college, or jumping off cliffs with friends. (I mean into water holes and stuff, of course you wont remember it if you kill yourself jumping off a cliff… Sorry I had to clarify that just cause some people would probably attack this)

But at the same time be productive with a job, or pursue an interest. And by pursue an interest, it has to be something enjoyable to you, and not a ploy that would look favorable to admission officers–otherwise that would be a waste of summertime.

Find that happy balance of productivity and jumping off cliffs, and you’ll have a great summer!

More CC time !!!

Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and all shooting some b-ball outside of the school.

For me, its going to a 2 and a half hour wrestling workout in the morning, followed by sleeping, call of duty and hanging out with friends. (maybe some SAT work every now and then)

for remedial students like me it just means more school :(
