Pursuing pre-med as a Gallatin student?

<p>Hey, I'm a prospective Gallatin student (I should be getting an ED decision back next week) and plan to pursue pre-med and go to med school. I saw a thread about pre-med at NYU in general and was wondering how different the pre-med experience at NYU would be for me at Gallatin? </p>

<p>Also, as a side note, do Gallatin freshmen have to take Writing the Essay? I know they have other requirements, but WTE was not mentioned on the site. </p>

<p>I could be wrong, but D was pre med last year CAS, you still have to take all the requirements for pre med as any other student along with your other classes.</p>

<p>no, Gallatinos take different writing courses that replace WTE.</p>
