I have no idea if anyone does this but does it help your college application if you put online courses on it?
I’ve done several Art of Problem Solving classes and currently I’m doing a course from Udacity and I plan on doing a computer science course from HarvardX so I wanted to see if they were useful besides the things I learn from them.
Go for it. Add it in your supplementary material though, it’s not really that impressive to take an online course (anyone can claim to have done it).
True, but at the end of the course (I took a Udacity course) there is an exam, which is really challenging, and it gives you the certificate of completion (the best one you can get is with the highest achievement). So I would not say that anyone can claim it, since not everyone would bother studying for some online exam
