Anyone else think this is a little out-dated? I mean I know we just moved up this year, but isn't it about time USC is recognized as a top college? There are 19 on that list, and the 8 ivy league schools are under the ivy league section, and between those that makes 27 top colleges, and there are colleges on that list that aren't even in the top 27, USC is an all-around good school in all areas with top programs in certain areas (film, for example), at rank 23, it's ranked higher, in not only US News, but other sources too for the past few years.

In US News 2011 college rankings, USC passes these CC-top colleges:

-**University of California -- Los Angeles/b Rank 25
-University of Virginia, Rank 25
-University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor (we passed them this year too, we were right below them last year I beleive), Rank 29
-University of North Carolina -- Chapel Hill, Rank 29

Sure there are plenty of other colleges that deserve recognition, but USC has been on the rise consistently for many years and deserves some recognition!

CC Top University != USNews Top. The admins here have the final saying who is on their top college list. We should respect their decision, but hope they can recognize USC’s worth as most of the public.

They decide what goes where. Honestly, I haven’t even looked at the top colleges page since the first time I visited because I simply made a bookmark directly looking to the usc forum.

As far as a place to be an undergraduate, I agree that USC is just as good as many of the public schools on there. As an overall institution though, I don’t think USC is yet up there with the other schools listed in their “top colleges” section. This is reflected in all other rankings besides US News. The “top colleges” section isn’t just based on US News undergraduate rankings…

I noticed that USC got significantly nerfed on c-proowller, they regressed on everything from weather to safety to athletics. I think the most significant fall however, was the girls rating, which is now a C!? I mean like come on Im less excited for next week now lolz

hahahaha that’s not true I wouldn’t even worry about it. They rate University of Michigan girls at an A I think which is absurd, so obviously that can’t be taken seriously. my (girl) friends that attend USC are all at least above average in attractiveness at the very least. You should check out the Playboy rankings or just google Top 50 most attractive college campus girls or something. USC is in the top 25 in most. however, intellectually, they’re a different story…

If you’re really trying to get USC moved up into CC-Top Universities I’m not sure that referencing the Playboy rankings is the best strategy. ;)

Playboy has articles now? Why wasn’t I told about this?
