We are still waiting for news about financial aid, and I am checking my.harvard compulsively. I checked with the FA office last week, and they said early this week, but nothing yet. Does the letter come up in the section of my.harvard under Campus Resources where it lists the documents they have received? (I am beginning to feel that I must be looking in the wrong place.) Also does anyone know if they only update once a day or update throughout the day? Sorry for the stupid questions, but I hate to bug FA anymore, and this is the only letter we are waiting on for my daughter to make her final decision.

You need to basically make sure that all your documents are complete. You can check the status of your documents on the bottom of the “Campus Resources” page. When I contacted the Financial Aid Office, they told me that my offer will be available within 7 business days after I had submitted all my documents. Then, after three days I think, they sent me an email with a pdf attachment that had my offer.

For me, they emailed the FA document as a pdf which was a scan of my actual letter (arrived in the mail).

Wouldn’t they have been calling you or emailing for missing documents or information?

I found the FA office very communicative actually.
