I'm in LSA and I need to take a course that satisfies my Quantitative Reasoning AND one more class for my Natural Science requirement... so I was looking at courses that satisfy both in one fell swoop.

Geosci 222 - Introductory Oceanography (cross-listed as Environ 232) looks like it would be pretty doable for someone like me who absolutely sucks at science/math of any kind...

Does anyone have any suggestions on good courses to take that are Natural Science and QR/2 at the same time? I really need to get that requirement out of the way!

Wait…you’re allowed to double-dip?

Astro 101 and 102 are both NS + QR/2

Infinit, it depends on the requirement. For that one I think you can, but I’m not positive. I had my QR done before I came to Michigan.

easiest natural science class???

“easiest natural science class???”

Organic Chemistry

OP, the LSA online course guide has an advanced search that can tell you this.

astro 102 with aller is a joke. The test questions are exactly the same as the practice exam questions, or at least that’s how he did it last year. They give you the answers on the online homework as well. Plus, aller tells funny stories instead of teaching some pretty dry material most of the time.

are there projects?/is it an interesting class?

Stats 250 will satisfy QR/1 and NS

@highschool92. There are a few observing projects, but they take all of 10 minutes to complete. It is somewhat interesting. Youll take away some fun facts, some great pictures, and class in the planetarium is sweet. Most comfortable seats on campus

hahha and its an easy class?

yes, but get aller. its much easier with him

Cool, thanks for the help
