Qualified Students Worried about Subpar SATII Scores- Advice Please

You should use the free score report of the SAT2 to speed up the delivery and save money. Don’t wait for the score before submitting. It may end up too late as it will hit the prime time for score report and it typically take 5 business days to process.

Hello - your stats are definitely within range for all of the schools mentioned above. Your scores are not what is going to keep you out of any of these schools. The entire package of how you present yourself however will matter a great deal.

You need to have a focus to your application, and from what I see above is a bright young woman who is good at test taking, gets great grades, and has a mish-mosh of activities. No clear unifying focus. AdComs will need you to make it clear for them what you are being pegged for. What slot for a need do you fill? Make it easy for them to connect the dots.

Update on this post: just found out my 6th semester updated GPA is 4.57 so wooooo I’m happy with that.

@sgopal2‌ thanks for your kind feedback! I am trying to show my personality and sense of humor in my applications with a focus on a future in nonprofit/volunteering type stuff. It may not be the most glamorous but it’s what I hope to pursue.
