Quantitative Econ at Tufts?

Hi! I was accepted ED1 to the Tufts Engineering school, but now I’m not so sure if I want to be an engineer anymore. I’m currently taking a very basic econ class in high school (my school doesn’t offer AP Econ) and I’m really interested in what we are learning, however, I’m scared that my class is way too dummied down. I love math, (I’m in AP Calc BC) and am thinking about switching my major into quantitative economics, however, I feel like I still don’t know anything about econ and I don’t want to transfer out of the engineering school too quickly in case I discover econ isn’t for me. I was hoping a Tufts econ student/alum could help me out and give me suggestions on what to do. Also, do most quantitative econ students go to grad school or go straight into the workforce. Also, is it difficult to get a job after Tufts?
Thanks!!!
