Quarter 1 Grades

After the admissions counselor spoke at my school she told us that we can email her a snapshot of our official quarter 1 transcript to be considered if we would like. I am not sure if I should. My schedule is a mixture of AP’s, Honors, and 2 CPA classes of Pre-Calc and Physics (because they are very hard). Ironically, I have A’s in the AP and Honors courses, and unfortunately have B’s in the CPA courses. I know they are tough courses, but would you suggest that I send the grades? Or no because it is not required and I will get an admissions decision before my school sends my semester one grades?

I am not familiar with the CPA designation (except for accountants of course) but I would say send them. AP courses tend to be an indicator of ability to do college level work, and that is what they are looking for. But you are right that they are not required, so trust your own instincts. On the whole, I think it doesn’t move the needle for you either way.

@fallenchemist ok thanks. CPA stands for college prep- like a normal leveled course.

Ah, OK. Good luck, you should hear soon.
