Queer Culture at UPenn?

Hey everyone! I'm currently a junior, but I'm looking for some insight on how queer-friendly Penn is and what opportunities queer/trans/nb/etc. students have. I've heard about some sort of "safe house", but are there any queer related groups? How are the student and teacher bodies' attitude towards LGBT people? Are there any gender nonconfroming people on campus?

stay cute~

I don’t know about specific clubs or organizations (guarantee they exist, though) but I think you’ll find the student body is generally very accepting and socially liberal about these things.

Penn has consistently been ranked not only one of the most LGBT-friendly colleges, but actually THE most LGBT-friendly college, in the country. Here are just a few of the articles about it (if you Google “Penn” or “University of Pennsylvania” together with “gay-friendly” or “LGBT-friendly,” you’ll find a lot more):

^This – OP: your question actually shocked me. Penn? They’re the trailblazer.

As you can see from 45’s links, articles exist that answer your question about many other schools too.
