This is kind of long, but I'd really appreciate any help!

Okay, so after a lot of debating/deliberating, I decided this weekend that I am going to apply to Stanford and Yale through QuestBridge (these are a few of the only non-binding partners and I want to keep my options open). However, I have a few questions:

First of all, in the event that I qualify as a finalist (or get matched, though I know that is really hard and it's kind of a long shot since I qualify financially and have the grades but I don't really feel like I've experience particular "hardships" so to speak and yada yada, there's probably people who need it as much or more than I do), I still want to apply RD to other schools with the Common App, but I do NOT want to use my QB app for Regular Decision - I feel that by the end of December/January, my essays and such on the Common App will be MUCH stronger, and I will have re-taken the SAT/Math Subject Test by then and I really feel that my scores will be stronger, and I also want to apply to some schools that are not QB partners.

MAIN QUESTION: How would I go about not using the QB Regular Decision app? Would I just not select colleges to forward it to if I do end up qualifying as a finalist? Or would it look bad if I don't use my QB app? Or since I'm applying to some non-partner schools, would it just not matter because they won't even know I used QB? (Dilemma: I'm applying to Notre Dame, which is a partner school, but not through QB; would it look bad if I use the Common App with them instead of QB?)

Also, as you probably know, QB only asks for 2 teacher recommendations + the counselor recommendation. I have asked my AP Psych (I'm planning on a Psych major) and APUSH teacher (I get along with her really well, and she's my Extended Essay advisor for IB diploma and other things so she knows me pretty well) from last year and I talked to my counselor today. However, I have a really good relationship with my Sophomore honors English teacher and I would REALLY love it if she could write for me and I know she would give me a REALLY good letter.

MAIN QUESTION: Would it be bad if I have my Psych/APUSH teacher write for me for QB and then my English/Psych teacher write for me for the Common App? Or should I just stick with the same recs? I know QB prefers junior year teachers, which is why I'm asking my Psych/APUSH teachers to write for me.

That's pretty much all, if you read through all of this I really appreciate it and thanks for any help!
