Questbridge finalists without any SAT or ACT score

I will be applying to Questbridge and I am very very interested in any former Questbridge finalist who became finalist without ANY SAT or ACT score. This is because I haven't taken any yet and I plan to only take SAT October November December. I did indeed read every single bit of information provided on Questbridge website and it claimed that finalist is possible but must be a "very strong" applicant. I am not completely sure what a "very strong" applicant looks like without an SAT score so I even emailed Questbridge my basic stats. Questbridge responded that I certainly meet their criteria but can not tell me if I make a strong or weak applicant. I was hoping anyone in this community knows anyone who became a Questbridge finalist, though not necessarily a national match scholar, without an SAT score.

If you have had actual legit Questbridge review process and can provide legit insight on my lack of SAT score, please let me know so I can post my stats. Besides that, I believe my speculation as a Questbridge applicant is just as valid as anyone else's so please do not try to make unnecessary speculations based on my stats. I just need to know if there have been previous cases of people making it into Questbridge finalist round without an SAT or ACT score.

I seriously doubt anybody can make a “legit” comment on your applying without an SAT/ACT score, as I seriously doubt ANYBODY has done that before. Why on earth would you be a competetive applicant and have not taken any test?

OP, I would think that submitting your QB application knowing that all QB partner schools require them would be like applying to medschool without an MCAT score. Do you care to share why you haven’t taken them yet? You say Oct, Nov or Dec. Unfortunately for you, you are WAY behind the eight ball for becoming a QB finalist. Many (most) QB partner schools also require the SAT II’s or the ACT in lieu of. Have you taken them?

I’m sure QB will make rare exceptions for strong students with a good reason for not having taken the SAT; possibilities include being a recent immigrant (months, not years) or having just finished participating in the Olympic Games. But those who are just disorganized or are perhaps interested in hiding their poor first SAT attempt are highly unlikely to make it to finalist.
