QuestBridge National College Match 2015-16

@lilmonet1 I ranked princeton too, didnt check out that part of the application though. I know for some of the applications it requires a questbridge code. Log in to your account. Click open application, and your questbridge code should be somewhere in the top right of the page.

Each school has specific instructions for how to send official transcripts (usually just mail) but my high school is forcing me to use Parchment. Does anyone know if this is okay? I emailed the individual colleges but haven’t gotten a response back

Sorry, l meant top left.

@Alpha101 i’m not too far into the PFAA yet but I do not see a section to put my QB number in. Well I guess they’ll know we’re QB people when our names are sent in

if i sent my test scores on the 21st do you guys think my scores will be sent to my college before november 1st??

@kikikiwi Even if it doesn’t get to them by Nov. 1st, the colleges will understand because we didn’t have to send it to them till we knew we were finalists for sure.

HELPPP

Ranked Columbia and Yale as number one and two. The ACT writing scores for Sept 2015 Act didn’t come out yet. What do I put for the writing score when self reporting on common app??? I guess I’ll try calling admissions tomorrow to find out. Does anyone know is Yale or Columbia are accepting screenshot of scores or anything like that?

I ranked Princeton as well and I believe we just go to the PU website and begin to fill out the forms, at least that is what I did.

I think someone may have asked this question already but…

Do you guys think it’s gonna be a huge deal if the SAT scores don’t arrive by Nov 1 to the school’s we are applying to? I ordered one score report before I found out I was a finalist bc I decided I was gonna apply there early (which by the way, is still pending according to CollegeBoard)…but I ordered my other score reports yesterday and I’m not sure how long they take to send.

To add on, I believe schools do send (well, at least my counselor does this) the official SAT scores so maybe it’s not that big of a deal? I just don’t want to be ruled out of the match because my SAT scores weren’t in on time.

Anyone else stressing about rankings? :-S

well… I originally ranked 11 schools but then realized that it was impossible to apply to every single one in 10 days and also could not afford to send 2 ACT scores to each college ( 264 + tax + whatever fee for the CSS profile)… I narrowed it down to 6 colleges, none of which were even in my top three… I’m just going to re-rank the ones I am going to apply to and then apply to a couple more maybe for RD if I am not matched. Anyone else doing something similar? It’s just been so difficult to get all of these requirements together and write 500 different supplements on top on it.

Just completed payment for sending SAT scores and the submission of the CSS form.
I was waiting until my dad could transfer money from the bank to his card… is anyone else considering emailing ranked schools to explain the possibly late arrival of SAT scores?

I hope you are all well and working hard on your applications! Haven’t even started on the writing supplements for CA haha…

@prettyegg Six colleges done, four to go. Don’t think I’ll be getting any sleep for the rest of this week.

For me, I’m mostly just reusing my QB essays for my Common App essay portions…

Did anyone else rank
1)Columbia
2) Yale

I originally also had Brown,Princeton, and Upenn ranked. But then decided to cut it down. I decided to only rank colleges I knew I definitely would want to go to over anywhere else. What colleges did you guys rank?

Schools Ranked:

  1. Caltech
  2. MIT
  3. Stanford
  4. Yale
  5. Princeton

(Praying that I’ll get into Caltech!)

Schools ranked:

  1. Yale.
  2. Princeton.
  3. Stanford.
  4. UChicago.
I would really love to get matched to any of those, and didn’t rank any other ones as I was not sure that I’m sure I’d like to go there.

Finally finished all my applications with 45 minutes to spare!
I really don’t know what I was thinking ranking 10 colleges…

What happens if you apply just a little past 12:00? Will it not count?
