I just got admitted with the message “Admitted - Accept Now”
If I hit the green acceptance button, does that mean I am permanently committed to Rutgers, and I can’t back out?

Don’t accept until you’re ready to commit. You have until May 1. It will bring you to a link to pay your deposit.
When you hit the green acceptance button it will take you a page that will allow you to choose which school you would like to enroll into. It does not automatically commit you to the school. After choosing the school it will allow you to pay the $150 enrollment fee. Once that is paid then you are enrolled. After enrolling you do have the option of withdrawing, within the “enrollment pathway” thus giving your spot POSSIBLY to a wait listed student. The $150 is nonrefundable so if you do choose to withdraw post enrolling then your not getting it back. I would just wait until you are sure of your decision to save yourself from this trouble.

@ironwarrior @jnkam24 Thanks for the responses! Though, when do I get to pick my major?
You do not declare a major until your are in school. I think you decide around your Sophomore year if i am correct
